Katie Gray is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in evaluating and treating adults with acute and chronic speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders resulting from Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Parkinson's disease, other Neurological Conditions, and Dementia.

Katie earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication sciences and disorders from Biola University and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Idaho State University. Since beginning her career in 2024, she has worked with adults across outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and home health settings, providing evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Katie is passionate about helping individuals with neurological conditions regain communication, cognition, swallowing function, and independence to improve their overall quality of life. She enjoys treating cognitive-communication disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, motor speech disorders, and dysphagia, tailoring each treatment plan to the individual's personal goals and daily functional needs.

She is experienced in administering and interpreting comprehensive standardized speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments to identify areas of impairment and develop individualized treatment plans that promote meaningful, real-world outcomes.

Katie also has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia, including management of severe swallowing disorders requiring enteral feeding, as well as oropharyngeal and esophageal dysphagia. She collaborates closely with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to promote safe swallowing, optimal nutrition, and improved quality of life.

Katies is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP), a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is certified in the SPEAK OUT! program for individuals living with Parkinson's disease.
